2005 4A Division II - Lewisville Hebron 28, Corpus Christi Calallen 0
Mike Says: Aledo was our pre-season pick to win the championship again. They were looking for their 6th state championship game since 2009. Calallen will be in their first championship game since 2005. Calallen is the feel good story with coach Phil Danaher becoming the all-time winningest coach this year. I am pulling for Calallen but the Aledo is too good. The Bearcats win 40-31.
Chris Says: As much as I would absolutely love to see Coach Danaher win his first state championship in the year he breaks the all-time coaching record, it is going to be tough. Early in the season, I was saying that they would make it to the title game and they did, but beating Title Town - Aledo, is a tall order. I have to pick Aledo for the win.
Glen Says: Great story for Phil Danaher. Too bad he has to face the behemoth of Aledo. Aledo cruises to their umpteenth championship this century. 28 points
Grant Says: Aledo by 6 to 10
Terry Says: Calallen by 7
Magic 8 Ball Says: Aledo wins
