DeSoto Championship Games:
First Championship Game
Mike Says: We watched Cibolo Steele early in the season when they played Converse Judson. I saw DeSoto last week when they played Klein Collins. DeSoto has a lot of speed but Steele may be able to match them. DeSoto has been winning on breaks over the last few weeks. Steele has been punishing people with their closest game being a 17 point win in the playoffs. Steele is good but DeSoto will once again find a way to win. The EAGLES win it 33-30!!
Chris Says: This is a sentimental pick for me. Cibolo Steele has been snake-bitten in their matchups for years. DeSoto seems to have more come-from-behind wins and they will have to do it again to win. In the end, it is Steele by 3.
Glen Says: This game will feature the most D1 talent of all 12 championship games. The future of TCU vs the future of Tech, Shawn Robinson vs Xavier Martin. Steele finally did not have to face Katy in the semis and they cash in with a nice state championship over the eagles, 3 point victory.
Grant Says: DeSoto by 2-5 points
Magic 8 Ball Says: Cibolo Steele
