2016 Saw 24 Performances Added to Single Game Touchdown Passes Record
Lone Star Gridiron continues to be the gold standard for news and historical information about Texas high school football. The record books continue to grow each year and 2016 saw many players carve their name into those history books.
There were twenty-four (24) additions to the Texas High School Football Record Book for touchdown passes in a single game in 2016. That list now boast lists 163 players. To make the list now, a player will have to throw for an amazing 7 touchdowns.
Magnolia's Jacob Frazier topped the 2016 additions with his 10 touchdown passes against Tomball. That tied for first place all-time. Travis Quintanilla of Refugio also has 10 touchdown passes in 2012. Nick Gerber came up one short of the record in his game against Andrews, but he still tied for 3rd place all-time.
