One of the sessions at the recent 46th annual Texas High School Athletic Directors Association State Conference was a talk between UIL Executive Director Dr. Charles Breithaupt and TAPPS Executive Director Bryan Bunselmeyer.  The talk moderated by Craig Way was about the state of both governing bodies in the state of Texas.

Yes, this is a long video - but it is IMPORTANT.  It is a valuable look at issues that affect Texas high school football both public and private. This is a great resource for understanding the difference between UI, TAPPS, home schools, academies and charter schools as well as the implications that future legislation could have on each.
