2016 Comments: Lanier won the district championship by winning the tie-breaker over Highlands as they both finished with 7-1 district records. Brackenridge finished in 3rd place while Sam Houston won the tie-breaker over Edison for the final playoff spot. This district did not win any playoff game though.
