Prosper ISD New Stadium from Huckabee on Vimeo.
According to the Prosper Independent School District, they completed the design of the new stadium/natatorium complex located on the north side of Frontier Park west of Prosper HS. The 12,000 capacity stadium will serve all PISD high schools moving forward and will coincide with PHS’s first year as a 6A high school when it opens in August 2019 with HS #2 opening a year later in 2020. This project was approved and will be funded from the $710 million bond issue passed nearly ten years ago coming in with an approximate cost of about $48 million. This project was scheduled to be constructed about 7 years ago but the “economy” happened and growth at that time dictated the need to push out new schools.
