Texas High School Football Week 3, 2017
Week Three of the 2017 Texas high school football season is complete.
We had a ton of interesting tidbits from week two:

- San Marcos looked poised to move to 3-0 until New Braunfels staked their own 3-0 claim with a late rally to win 54-42.
- Abilene Cooper 49, Abilene 35 -- Cooper improved their record in this series 33-23-1 all-time in the “Crosstown Showdown”
- Austin LBJ 48, Austin Anderson 20 -- “Taco Shack Bowl”
- Graham 42, WF Hirschi 35 -- Graham played in their 1,050th all-time game
- Lufkin 44, Tyler 34 -- Lufkin improved their record in this series to 30-38-3 all-time
- Gregory-Portland 55, CC Carroll 14 -- Gregory-Portland evened this series at 23-23-1 since 1972 in the “Battle Of The Bridge”
- Colleyville Heritage 31, Euless Trinity 14 -- Colleyville Heritage finally won a game in this series and is now 1-10 since 2002. Before this game, there were only 2 games Euless did not win by at least 14 points
- Austin Westlake 52, Pflugerville 3 -- Austin Westlake now leads this series 6-1 since 1994
