Texas High School Football Week 5, 2017

Another week of the 2017 Texas high school football season is complete. Once again we had a ton of interesting tidbits :

    • New Braunfels 49, New Braunfels Canyon 7 -- New Braunfels is now 29-7 all-time vs. New Braunfels Canyon in the “Wurst Bowl”
    • Boerne 37, Bandera 0 -- Boerne is now 32-19-6 all-time vs. Bandera
    • Fort Bend Travis 50, Fort Bend Clements 0 -- Fort Bend Travis played in their 100th All-Time game
    • Rio Grande City 17, Roma 14 -- Rio Grande City won their 275th All-Time game
    • Harlingen 36, Harlingen South 7 -- Harlingen is now 21-4 all-time vs Harlingen South in the “Bird Bowl”
    • Longview 54, Tyler Lee 26 -- Longview is now 42-14-2 all-time vs. Tyler Lee
    • Weslaco East 35, Weslaco 7 -- Weslaco East tied the series at 3-3 vs. Weslaco in the Tinaco Bowl
    • Arlington Martin 43, Arlington Bowie 14 -- Arlington Martin is now 17-9 all-time vs. Arlington Bowie
    • Lewisville Hebron 52, Byron Nelson 31 -- Lewisville Hebron played in their 200th all-time game.......this was also Head Coach Brian Brazil's 200th all-time game
    • Flower Mound Marcus 29, Hurst Bell 7 -- Flower Mound Marcus played in their 350th all-time game
    • Humble Atascocita 63, Humble Kingwood 7 -- Humble Atascociata is now 7-5 all-time vs. Humble Kingwood
    • El Paso El Dorado 34, El Paso Eastwood 27 -- El Paso El Dorado won their 75th All-Time game
    • Deer Park 42, Pasadena Dobie 0 -- Deer Park won their 475th All time game
    • Medina Valley 50, Marble Falls 30 -- Medina Valley Head Coach Chris Soza coached his 250th all-time game
    • McKinney 35, Plano West 14 -- McKinney won their 575th All-Time game
    • Galveston Ball 41, Texas City 40, OT -- Galveston Ball is now 49-19-2 all-time in this series
    • West Orange-Stark 34, Silsbee 17 -- West Orange-Stark improved to 22-3 All-Time in this series
    • Burnet 31, Llano 21 -- Burnet is now 43-45-4 all-time vs. Llano
    • Decatur 61, Bridgeport 28 -- Decatur is now 64-28-6 all-time vs. Bridgeport
    • Van 34, Crandall 14 -- Van won their 550th all-time game
    • Hondo 35, Devine 21 -- Hondo improved to 58-36-2 all-time in this series
    • Somerset 35, San Antonio Harlandale 14 -- Somerset won their 475th All-Time game
    • Forney 30, Royse City 27 -- Forney won their 600th all-time game
    • Coldspring-Oakhurst 22, Crockett 16 -- Coldspring-Oakhurst improved to 7-5 all-time in this series
    • Franklin 41, Troy 10 -- Franklin Head Coach Mike Hedrick coached in his 450th all-time game
    • Hamlin 27, Stamford 21, OT -- Hamlin is now 12-10 vs. Stamford since 1994
    • Katy 37, Katy Taylor 0 -- Katy is now 27-6 all-time vs. Katy Taylor
    • Aldine MacArthur 69, Aldine 34 -- Aldine MacArthur improved to 18-32-1 all-time vs. Aldine
