Stat Leaders Week 5 2017

At Lone Star Gridiron, we keep more stats than any other source when it comes to Texas high school football.  Most of those are reserved for Premium Subscribers but periodically, we post info for all to see. Here are a few updates:

Bells' Bryan Ponder remained at the top of the passing leaders board. He now has 2,124 yards for the season. Nine (9) players have now thrown for over 1,500 yards. A player would need to throw for 1,307 yards to make this list of 26 players.

Crosbyton's Tim Childers held on to the rushing lead with 1,312 yards. Ten (10) players are now over 1,000 yards. A player would need to run for 810 yards to make the list of 29 players.

Bells receiver Hunter Hawthorne leads everyone is receiving lead with 961 yards. Twelve (12) players were over 600 yards. A player would need to catch for 541 yards to make the list of 24 players.
