At Lone Star Gridiron, we keep more stats than any other source when it comes to Texas high school football. Most of those are reserved for Premium Subscribers but periodically, we post info for all to see. Here are a few updates:

Pampa's Brandon Steward took over the lead for passing yards. He now has 2,193 yards for the season. He took the lead from Bell's Bryan Ponder who had a bye week but remained in 2nd place. Thirteen (13) players have now thrown for over 1,600 yards. A player would need to throw for 1,464 yards to make this list of 26 players.
El Paso Parkland's Deion Hankins took over a 200 yard lead over Crosbyton's Tim Childers who was idle this week. Six (6) players are now over 1,100 yards. A player would need to run for 922 yards to make the list of 25 players.
Sweetwaters's Kobe Clark took the receiving lead as Bells receiver Hunter Hawthorne had a bye week. Seven (7) players were over 750 yards. A player would need to catch for 595 yards to make the list of 26 players.
