UIL District Assignment Appeals Committee Meeting Results

No Football Realignments Approved
AUSTIN - The District Assignment Appeals Committee of the University Interscholastic League heard 10 appeals regarding reclassification and realignment Tuesday. The committee, composed of UIL Legislative Council members, heard testimony from all interested parties in regards to each appeal.
The committee granted an appeal from Granbury (BB/VB) to move from conference 5A district 4 to conference 5A district 5.
The District Assignment Appeals Committee voted to deny appeals from Austin Ann Richards (VB), Fort Worth Trimble Tech (FB), Fort Worth Young Men's Leadership Academy (FB), Marble Falls (BB/VB), Poteet (BB/VB), Chireno (BB), San Angelo Central (FB/BB/VB), and Everman (FB).
Richards High School (VB) was granted an appeal to move from conference 2A district 22 to conference 2A district 26. The school received unanimous approval from all schools in the original district and the requested district.
