LSG: bigger, faster, stronger

If you noticed a slight slow-down in things recently at Lone Star Gridiron, there is a good reason. We took advantage of the off-season to make some major changes here at LSG.
We have moved our entire site to a new hosting company - only our second move in 15 years of providing the best in Texas high school football news. We didn't move just to move. We didn't move to save money. In fact, we are not spending 12x as much on our hosting services but we feel it is going to be more than worth it.
You will notice loading times are much faster. We have a much more robust system to avoid attacks - during 2017 alone, we had over 20,000 attacks by Russian and Chinese hackers. Although they weren't successful 99% of the time in the past, we are much more bulletproof now.
Yes, it costs more, but it is all part of our strategy to build a platform that can handle our ongoing growth as well as some BIG plans we have in store. You will see the results of these plans throughout the 2018 season. We are so excited that we will be able to continue to be the top site for Texas high school football news and information as we roll out these changes.
