San Angelo Central Will Travel

San Angelo Central is on a 7 year winning streak going 70-16 during that time and they show no signs of slowing down. Head Coach Brent Davis who was the District Coach Of The Year last year will once again bring back a talented well coached team. That talent will feature All-State QB Maverick McIvor who was also the District Offensive MVP. Protecting him will be All-State OL Gunner Couch.
The only thing that may slow Central down is the distance they have to travel to play teams in their district. They will be in District 3-6A for the next two seasons with Abilene, Euless Trinity, Haltom City, Hurst Bell, Richland and Weatherford.
Abilene - 88.4 miles
Euless Trinity - 243.7 miles
Haltom City - 234.4 miles
Hurst Bell - 239.7 miles
Richland - 236.1 miles
Weatherford.- 197.2 miles
Those are some long trips but the Bobcats are somewhat used to it. They traveled to Killeen Shoemaker - 182.7 miles and Wolfforth Frenship 190.2 miles last year. Look for the Bobcats to have another 10+ win season.
