Poll: 5A State champions?

We asked Fans, Coaches and Brotherhood members "Which team is most likely to repeat as state champions?" Here is the composite of over 1,000 responses:

Neither team had much in the way of support when it came to predictions of a repeat. Just 8.8% of respondents feel that Dallas Highland Park will repeat as State Champions while a tiny 3.5% think College Station will be back among winners.

The same groups were asked "Which runner-up is most likely to take that next step and win a championship?" The teams predicted to "finish the job"  were given a much better chance, but still not all that promising.

Yes, only 28.8% feel that Aledo can get the job done and just 10,5% feel Manvel will be hoisting a trophy in December.
