Mike Says: We have Lufkin winning the Division I Championship which would be their first since 2001. They would be facing an interesting opponent in the Hutto Hippos who were last in a Championship game in 2005. They played for the Class 3A Division II title then. Its Aledo again in Division II. This time they face a College Station team again but it is A&M Consolidated instead of College Station who beat them 20-19 last year. The competition will be fierce in the Area rounds as we have powers like Dallas Highland Park, College Station, Manvel and Fort Bend Marshall all losing in that round.
Chris Says: I am most excited about Division I because I really want to see a Hutto vs. Lufkin matchup. In Division II, I have to say I just don't see A&M Consolidated making it that far. I really think Fort Bend Marshall ends their run much earlier and the Buffs will make it to that title matchup against Aledo. Regardless of who is there for kickoff, Title Town will be tough to beat.
