Mike Says: These teams will put on a great show. It will be back and forth the whole game. Each team knocked off one of the two teams that I thought would be here (Carthage and Argyle). Waco La Vega wins it 35-30.
Chris Says: These two teams are very similar in offensive styles and defensive toughness. They are hard-nosed Central Texas powers that know how to grind down their opponent. So what gives? Who will win when two heavyweights slug it out? I don't know, but what I do know is that in past years, Waco La Vega knocked off the teams I had picked to win. For that reason, I cannot count out the Pirates. They win a slugfest.
