The Kings in the North
The Canadian Wildcats had another great season last year, making to the Championship game again. They lost in the title game to Newton 16-21 at Arlington's AT&T Stadium. The game was much better and much closer than a lot of people thought it might be against a very fast and talented Newton team.
This was the Wildcats' sixth State Championship game. They have a 4-2 record in the big game.
Head Coach Chris Koetting leads the program and is 113-16-0 at Canadian and all-time. He is in a tie for 418 place all-time for Coaching wins.
