The Rockwall-Heath Hawks have hired a replacement for a Head Coach that has been there since 2008. The Hawks hired Mike Spradlin to take over for the retiring Mickey Moss.
Coach Moss has been with Rockwall-Heath for 11 years going 80-45-0 during that time. He is retiring with an All-Time Coaching record of 145-91-0. That puts him in a tie for 272nd place all-time. He has also been the Head Coach at Austin High, 1998-2001 (20-22-0) and South Garland, 2002-2007 (45-24-0).
Coach Spradlin Was the Athletic Director at Magnolia ISD. He has an All-Time Coaching Record of 109-64-0. That puts him in a tie for 440th place all-time. He has also been the Head Coach at Navasota 1998 (6-5-0), Round Rock Westwood 1999-2002 (22-19-0), Abilene Cooper 2006-2010 (37-23-0) and Temple 2011-2015 (44-17-0).
2018's 3-7 record was a rough season for the Hawks. It ended 11 consecutive non-losing seasons. Coach Spradlin will look to return Heath to their previous winning ways.
