travis reeve - cuero gobblers high school football

Each year, Lone Star Gridiron sends out ballots to our Fans, TXHSFB Coaches, Brotherhood members and our staff/contributors. We compile those votes to select our players and coaches of the year.

This year, Cuero's Travis Reeve was selected as the 2018 Class 4A LSG Coach Of The Year. Coach Reeves Gobblers had a great season finishing with a 15-1 record and won the Class 4A Division II Championship. It was their first championship since 1987.

LSG and the Brotherhood had Coach Reeve #1 in the voting. The Coaches had him in the 2nd spot while the Fans had him #3 in the voting.

The Coaches had Josh Gibson from Texarkana Pleasant Grove as their top pick while the Fans had Jeff Walker of Liberty Hill as their top pick. The runner up spot went to Josh Gibson.

Reeve has gone 72-22 with the Gobblers since he took over 7 years ago. Travis is the son of former Gobbler head coach Mark Reeve (2003-2009).
