Class 5A LSG 2018 Defensive Player Of The Year

Each year, Lone Star Gridiron sends out ballots to our Fans, TXHSFB Coaches, Brotherhood members and our staff/contributors. We compile those votes to select our players and coaches of the year.
This year, Aledo's Wyatt Harris was selected as the 2018 Class 5A LSG Defensive Player Of The Year. Harris led the Bearcats to a great season finishing with a 16-0 record and a state championship. He has signed to play at the next level with Texas Christian University (TCU.)
Dallas Highland Park JR DL Prince Dorbah, was the Runner Up while DL Steven Parker from Dallas South Oak Cliff finished 3rd.

Friday Night Legends Board Game
2018 Aledo The 2018 Bearcats relied on a strong run game and powerful defense. They gave up over 20 points only twice all season and won the championship easily 55-19 over Fort Bend Marshall.
2017 Aledo The Bearcats made it to another championship game in 2017. They have now been to the big game 8 times and won 6. They did not win this years though losing in a tough battle to College Station 19-20.
2011 Aledo with Johnathan Gray The Bearcats wons the Class 4A Division II title. They were led by superstar running back Jonathan Gray who ran for 3,888 yards which is the 3rd best all-time.
