Mike Says: After we tallied up the results, I was surprised to see Mart at #3 BUT Hamlin and Falls City are both very good and could take down that tough Mart team. Sleeper teams here are La Pryor and Santo.
Chris Says: Hamlin may have the horses coming back but the playoff experience of Mart is not to be trifled with. I watched a Mart scrimmage against Waco Connally and West and yes, there were some expected slip-ups from rustiness, but they will pull it together when it counts. The big fear with Mart is lack of depth - not in terms of talent, but simply lack of bodies. It is a very small team in terms of numbers, but those numbers have played 3 years worth of games in the last two seasons so expect their experience to win out. Stratford is a team that I think is going to surprise a lot of people this year. They too could easily be standing on the last week of the season.
