Each year, Lone Star Gridiron sends out ballots to our Fans, TXHSFB Coaches, Brotherhood members and our staff/contributors. We compile those votes to select our players and coaches of the year.
This year, Mart's Tyrek Horne was selected as the 2018 Class 2A LSG Offensive Player Of The Year. Horne led the Panthers to a great season finishing with a 15-1 record and a State Championship.
Horne ended the year with 2,403 total yards and 42 total touchdowns.
Falls City QB Keyshawn Johnson, was the Runner Up while QB Peyton Bevel from Stamford finished 3rd.

2018 Mart Coach Kevin Hoffman's 2018 Panthers won their second straight state championship. Their potent offense scored over 50 eleven times and over 75 twice.
2017 Mart The Panthers won the Class 2A Division I Championship. This was their 5th all-time title in 9 championship games. They dominated teams winning one game 90-0. One of the best running averages in the game with a 10.7 yards per carry.
