The Austin Bowie Bulldogs defeated the Austin Del Valle Cardinals 38-21 in Week 4 of the 2019 season.
With the win, Austin Bowie Head Coach Jeff Ables won his 125th game at Bowie & all-time. Ables has an all-time record of 125-70-0. That puts him in a tie for 358th place on the all-time coaching wins list.
The Bulldogs currently rank #87 in Class 6A and have a must anticipated game against undefeated #65 Buda Hays Consolidated this week. The Cardinals rank #180 in Class 6A and they take on #199 Austin Akins.
Both teams need wins to keep their playoff hopes alive. (even this early in the season)
