ARLINGTON, TX – The Gordon Longhorns delivered a commanding performance, defeating Whiteface 70-24 in the championship showdown at AT&T Stadium on December 18, 2024. Gordon finished a perfect season at 15-0, while Whiteface ends their season 14-1.

The game started with an explosive first quarter, as Gordon quickly asserted dominance on both sides of the ball.
1st Quarter Highlights:
7:47 – S. Reed capped off a 17-yard drive with a 12-yard rushing touchdown (PAT good by Salinas).
6:13 – Walters hauled in a 20-yard touchdown pass from S. Reed to extend the lead to 16-0.
5:33 – Whiteface responded with a 2-yard touchdown pass from Soliz to Kauffman (PAT good).
5:23 – Gordon immediately struck back as Shank returned the ensuing kickoff 46 yards for a touchdown.
4:20 – Kostiha connected with S. Reed on a deep 66-yard touchdown pass.
3:08 – Whiteface’s Kauffman rushed for a 17-yard score, narrowing the margin to 28-16.
2:55 – Gordon's Ry Reed broke free for a 35-yard rushing touchdown, ending the quarter 36-16.
2nd Quarter Highlights:
Whiteface managed one final score with Rendon rushing for a 5-yard touchdown, but Gordon dominated with three consecutive touchdowns:
9:11 – Ry Reed’s second 35-yard rushing touchdown.
3:47 – Ry Reed punched in a 16-yard touchdown (his third of the night).
1:36 – Walters secured a 30-yard touchdown pass from Kostiha.
0:29 – Walters capped the quarter with a 42-yard touchdown reception (PAT failed).
Gordon entered halftime up 64-24.
3rd Quarter Highlight:
Gordon opened the second half with a final statement, as S. Reed sprinted for a 45-yard rushing touchdown just 11 seconds into the third quarter, sealing the 70-24 victory.
Gordon's explosive offense and opportunistic defense proved too much for Whiteface to handle. With key performances from Ry Reed, Walters, and S. Reed, Gordon walked away with a decisive victory to cap off their undefeated season.
