Arlington, Texas – In a game for the ages, the Richmond Randle Lions edged the Dallas South Oak Cliff Bears 38-35 on Friday night at AT&T Stadium. This victory marks Randle’s first championship in its short three-year history as a varsity football program, cementing their place in Texas high school football lore.

Game Recap

The Lions struck early, with Sincere Timpson electrifying the crowd by returning the opening kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown. This set the tone for a game that would see Randle capitalize on special teams and timely plays to stay ahead. Landen Williams-Callis added a 1-yard touchdown run to extend the lead to 14-0.

South Oak Cliff responded with a 17-yard touchdown pass from Carter Kopecky to Jaylen Moore late in the first quarter. The Lions extended their lead to 17-7 in the second quarter with a 44-yard field goal by Christian Munguia.
