De Soto Eagles Soar to Easy Win
The De Soto Eagles extended their state championship record to 4-0 after having won previously in 2016, 2022 & 2023. The Eagles jumped out to a 27-0 lead by the end of the first before Houston's CE King appeared to wake up. The second quarter saw both teams put up 21 as the defense of both teams vanished. The pace slowed in the second half but De Soto still walked away tied for the 5th most points ever scored in a Class 6A State Championship winning 55-27.
