This team was featured in the documentary film "Women of Troy." It highlighted Cheryll Miller's story as the greatest women's basketball player of all time. The team ended the streak of two straight national championships by Louisiana Tech and began a streak of two straight championships for USC.

The roster included Cynthia Cooper (who went on to win four straight WNBA championships with the Houston Comets)
