The 1993-1994 Razorbacks made it to the Final Four, where they defeated Arizona and then went on to beat Duke in the National Championship game. This victory was made possible by Scotty Thurman's iconic three-point shot, dubbed the "Shot heard 'round Arkansas," which occurred with less than a minute remaining in the game. This historic play helped the team secure its first-ever national championship, making the 1993-94 season the greatest in Arkansas' ninety-eight-year history of men's basketball. Corliss Williamson was also named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.
