The 2023 Crimson Tide finished 5th in the rankings for the second consecutive season. After an early season misstep against Texas (24-34) they rolled through the season (including an 27-24 SEC Championship win over #1 ranked Georgia) and into the CFP. They faced off against Michigan in the Rose Bowl and lost 20-27.
