Long Time Clear Lake Head Coach Takes Over At Baytown Sterling

2011 Coaching Change -- Baytown Sterling Rangers

Old Head Coach: Herb Minyard -- Reassigned after leading the Rangers to a 22-45-1 record over the last 7 seasons.

New Head Coach: Troy Aduddell -- Came from 5A Clear Lake where he coached the Falcons to a 82-76-1 over the last 15 seasons (since 1996). He began his career as an assistant in Garland from 1985-1986 before coming to Clear Lake in 1987. At Clear Lake he started off as a DE/LB coach and later became the defensive coordinator before taking over as the head coach in 1996. He will be the Rangers 12th head coach in their 44 year history.

Team News: The Rangers have had only one winning season over the last 7 years. Their playoff game in 2008 was their first since 1985. Their key rival is Baytown Lee and they have gone 16-26-2 all-time vs. the Gangders including a 28-20 OT victory
last season.
