2011 Coaching Change: El Paso Irvin Rockets
Old Head Coach: Cliff Olander -- Resigned after leading the Rockets to a 28-35-0 record over the last six seasons. Before taking over as head coach he was the offensive coordinator. He played college ball at New Mexico State and played with the San Diego Chargers and New York Giants in the NFL.
New Head Coach: Howard Wells -- Was an assistant at El Paso Andress. He has also been an assistant coach at El Paso and Clint Mountain View. In the college ranks he was an assistant at UTEP, New Mexico State, Stephen F. Austin and Angelo State.
Team News: Most wins in a season over the last 6 seasons has only been 6 wins (2007 & 2009).
