Cedar Creek Hires Second Head Coach Before They Even Play A Varsity Game

2011 Coaching Change: Cedar Creek Eagles

Old Head Coach: Mike Ferrell -- Resigned after only one year at the school. He came over from El Paso Socorro where he coached there for 3 years going 10-20. He also was the head coach at Fort Bend Kempner from 2003-2006 going 25-21. Prior to that Coach Ferrell was the offensive coordinator at Fort Bend Hightower and Pecos.

New Head Coach: Dan Hernandez -- Was the defensive coordinator at Austin Del Valle for the past two seasons. He started his career in 1996 at Bastrop as an equipment manager and later became the defensive coordinator. He went to Austin Del Valle in 2009 where he was the assistant principal and defensive coordinator for the Cardinals.

Team News: The school Opens in 2010 and will play their first varsity season in 2012.
