2011 Coaching Change: Uvalde Coyotes
Old Head Coach: Tony Trevino -- Leaving for 5A Corpus Christi Carroll. He led the Coyotes to a 22-20-0 record over the last 4 years which was his first head coaching job. His teams have made the playoffs in each of the past 3 seasons but they have not won any of those playoff games. Before taking over at Uvalde, he was an assistant coach at Smithson Valley from 1997 to 2006.
New Head Coach: John Livas -- Has been an assistant coach at Tuloso-Midway since 2007. He has also been an assistant at Beeville Jones, Aransas Pass, San Diego and Corpus Christi West Oso. This will be his first head coaching job.
Team News: The most wins in a season for the Coyotes over the last nine years is only seven.
