2011 Coaching Change: Amarillo River Road Wildcats
Old Head Coach: Bryan Welps -- Leaving for 3A Brownfield after leading the Wildcats to a 23-39-0 over 6 seasons. His 2009 team made it to the Class 2A Division I quarterfinals.
New Head Coach: Jayme Carr -- Was the offensive coordinator at Wichita Falls. He has also coached at Lewisville Hebron.
Team News: The Wildcats have had only 1 winning season (2009) in the last 12 years.
