Hal Wasson Wins 2011 MaxPreps National Coach of The Year

Hal Wasson who is the head coach for the Class 5A Division I State Champion Southlake Carroll is this years winner of the MaxPreps National Coach of The Year award. He led the Dragons from Southlake Carroll to a 16-0 season and ended the season winning their 8th all-time state championship in 9 tries.
Coach Wasson has been at Southlake since 2007 and has led the Dragons to an overall record of 66-15. He ranks 3rd in all-time wins at Southake Carroll behind Bob Ledbetter (170) and Todd Dodge (98). He has an all-time record of 178-94-2 and prior to the season ranked #187 on the all-time coaching wins list.
