2012 Coaching Change: Irving Tigers
Old Head Coach: Jim Bennett -- Retiring after coaching the Tigers for the past 28 years going 128-161-4. Coach Bennett retires ranking #105 on the all-time coaching wins list.
New Head Coach: Aaron De La Torre -- Was Denton Ryan assistant for the past 2 seasons. He is a 1993 graduate of Irving. Coach Bennett was his high school coach. Coach De La Torre played in the NFL in the late 1990's. This will be his first head coaching job.
Team News: The Tigers have now had 3 consecutive 1-9 seasons. They are on a 7 year losing streak going 15-56.
