Seymour Hires Ivy From Electra

2012 Coaching Change: Seymour Panthers
Old Head Coach: Rocky Smart -- Leaving for 2A Clyde. He led the Panthers to a 27-11-0 record over the last 3 seasons. He was also a head coach at 1A Nazareth leading the Swifts to a 21-5 record over 2 seasons.
New Head Coach: Keith Ivy -- From 1A Electra where he led the Tigers to a 6-6 record during his only season there. He has also been a defensive coordinator at Cleburne and an assistant at Allen, Sanger and Gainesville. Coach Ivy's dad, James coached the Panthers to a 22-28-0 record from 1983-1987.
Team News: The Panthers are on a 5 year winning streak (all 8+ wins). They will move to District 3-1A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Archer City, Olney, Quanah and Windthorst.
