Sedberry Returns To Greenville For The Third Time

2012 Coaching Change: Greenville Lions
Old Head Coach: Chawn Cooper -- Re-assigned after leading the Lions for the past 2 years to an 0-20 record. He has also been an assistant at Caddo Mills, Greenville (1996-2000 and 2002-2006), Sulphur Springs and Wolfe City.
New Head Coach: Marvin Sedberry -- Was the athletic director for Alief ISD for the past 6 years. This will be his 3rd time to serve as head coach for the Lions. He led them from 1992-2000 and athen again in 2002-2003. Coach Sedberry is already the all-time winningest coach in Lion history.

Team News: The Lions have lost their last 20 games. They will remain in District 13-4A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Denison, Lucas Lovejoy, McKinney North, Royse City, Sherman, Wylie and Wylie East.
