Jasper Gets Their Third Head Coach In Four Years

2012 Coaching Change: Jasper Bulldogs
Old Head Coach: Garrett Morgan -- Resigned after leading the Bulldogs for 1 season going 6-5. Before taking over last year, he Was the defensive coordinator at Carthage for four seasons. He has also been an assistant at Texas High.
New Head Coach: Darrell Barbay -- From 2A Anahuac where he led the Panthers for 5 years to a 33-21 record. Before taking over at Anahuac, he was the head coach at Hull-Daisetta from 2000-2006 going 41-32. Coach Barbay is the son of 300-game winner Curtis Barbay and his brother is Bryan Barbay who is at Coldspring-Oakhurst.
Team News: The Bulldogs have gone 29-35 record over last 6 seasons. They will be moving to District 20-3A from 18-3A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Carthage, Center, Diboll and Huntington.
