2012 Coaching Change: Wortham Bulldogs
Old Head Coach: Jerry Young -- Leaving after leading the Bulldogs for the past 3 seasons to a 10-20 record. He has also been a head coach at Memphis and an assistant at Medina Valley, Rosebud-Lott & Rice Consolidated.
New Head Coach: Shane Doege -- Has been an assistant with the Bulldogs for the last three years. He has also been an assistant at Groesbeck and Hillsboro.
Team News: The Bulldogs have had 7 consecutive non-winning seasons going 18-52. They will be moving to District 9-1A Division II from 10-1A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Dawson, Frost, Hubbard and Meridian.
