Mike Says: The Sharks get some help by dropping down to 2A but then they got dropped down to 14-2A which is one of the tougher districts in the state. Expect the Sharks to do well with their pre-district schedule but struggle once they reach district. They should go 3-7 or 4-6 for the season but a long shot to make the playoffs.

Chris Says: Coach Treybig has had a tough road since taking over the reigns at Palacios, but the return to 2A should assist. It would have been much easier had they dropped into just about any other Gulf Coast district. 14-2A is a black and blue bruiser of a district that won't roll over for the Sharks. Palacios seems to be a year or two and one standout player away from regularly competing for playoff positioning. That said, the return of their veteran players will give them confidence and confidence goes a long way.
