2012 Coaching Change: Hawkins Hawks
Old Head Coach: Keith Cook -- Resigns after 7 seasons with the Hawks going 26-47.
New Head Coach: Marty Moore — From Gladewater Union Grove where he lead the Lions to an overall 37-63 record over the past 10 years. He has been an assistant at Livingston and Tyler Chapel Hill. He is a 1986 graduate of Hawkins High.
Team News: 2011 ended a 2 year winning streak. They will be moving to District 10-2A Division II from 9-1A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Arp, Frankston, Garrison, Gladewater Union Grove, West Rusk and Winona.
