Enrollment: 394 -- 3rd largest in the district out of 7 schools

* Have been playing varsity football for a little over 100 years and finally made the playoffs last year
* They made the playoffs with a statement game against Pilot Point winning 60-7

Mike Says: The Bearcats had an amazing year last year finally making it to the playoffs. Things are looking even brighter this year after coming off a 7-4 record and dropping down to Class 2A. The problem is that their new 2A district may be tougher than their 3A district was. Their 9-3A wins last year were to teams with a combined record of 8-21. Look for them to finish the regular season at 5-5 or 6-4 and fight for that 3rd playoff spot.

Chris Says: Whitesboro looks to repeat their playoff success and I think they have the team to do it. They drop down in class, but into a tougher district. That said, 7 wins is not out of the question and if they do that, they will be playing in the "second season" once again this year. If they do, I expect the Bearcats will win their first ever playoff game this year!
