2013 Coaching Change: San Antonio Roosevelt Rough Riders
Old Head Coach: Neal La Hue — Leaving for 4A Buda Hays Consolidated. He led the Rough Riders to a 42-33 record in 7 seasons. His only other head coaching position was at Kerrville Tivy where he went 34-23 from 1997-2001. He started out coaching as an assistant at Texas A&M University in Kingsville. He also was an assistant at Corpus Christi Calallen, Seguin and Austin Westlake.
New Head Coach: Matt Carroll -- From 4A Waco University where he led the Trojans to a 20-32 record over the past 5 seasons. Before taking over the Trojans, he was an assistant with San Antonio Reagan.
Team News: The Rough Riders went from 2 wins in 2011 to 9 in 2012.
