Mike Says: This has been a very heated rivary for a long time. If you would have asked me before I ran the numbers, I would have thought Abilene high had the all-time advantage though. This will be a great quarterback fight. Abilene will feature Evin Abbe 1539 passing yards and 8 touchdowns. Cooper will show off Clayton Nicholas. I had Abilene 24 and Cooper 25 in the Pre-Season rankings. Abilene has had a very tough schedule so far this year. The EAGLES win 28-27!!!

Chris Says: This game will have the city of Abilene all fired up. Both teams are starting off good and both have been tested early. Both need this win if they are to stay ahead of the pack in district standings. Both handled Odessa. Both handled Midland Lee. Things could get very knotted up in district if Abilene gets the win and then Odessa Permian handles the Eagles. For that reason, Cooper will need to step up this week. Unfortunately for them, the Abilene EAGLES will win this one 31-28!!!
