Updated: July 14, 2008
Former Dallas Cowboys' Head Coach, Dave Campo was back coaching the Cowboys July 11th and 12th at College Station during the FSN Southwest 7-on-7 state tournament. This time it was the Coppell Cowboys and not the NFL Dallas Cowboys. Coppell was able to advance to the Championship bracket on Saturday after going 2-1 in pool play on Friday. Campo’s son, Michael plays WR for Coppell. Coach Campo was a huge hit at the tournament as he was quickly recognized and even took team photos with other schools. Campo was the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys from 2000-2002 and is now there secondary coach.
