Katy as spoiler or Galena Park NS making history?

History could be made this season as Galena Park North Shore has an opportunity to break the all-time regular season win record.  The Southlake Carroll Dragons hold the record with 72 straight and Galena Park NS currently holds a 70 game regular season win streak.  We are talking seven straight seasons without a regular season win.

If you are the Athletic Director for North Shore, you might be tempted to schedule a few pansies, but the Mustangs's schedule as they attempt to break the record looks like a playoff run.

Yikes!

Katy is coming off a state championship and although they lost Aundre Dean (USC) and Bo Levi Mitchell (SMU) they should put together another excellent team.  The Tigers find themselves in the unusual role of being a spoiler although Katy fans will tell you that they are the clear favorites.

Whether you think Katy will roll North Shore or the Mustangs' date with destiny won't be slowed by the Tigers, it is sure to be a very good game.
