Cayuga's record breaking Running Back Traylon Shead has made a verbal commitment to be a Texas Longhorn in 2010. Shead becomes the 14th commitment for the 2010 class and is the first running back of that class to commit to the Longhorns.
Shead rushed for 3,502 yards and 52 touchdowns in 2009 and led Cayuga to the state championship game. He was named the Associated Press Class A Offensive Player of the Year and Texas Sports Writers Association Class A Offensive Player of the Year.
