Notes:
Coach Perry has led an amazing turnaround at Bowie. His worst season (7-4 in 2006) produced as many wins as the best season in the schools history (7-3 in 1982). It will be very tough for the Volunteers to have another double digit win season this year with on 5 total starters returning. One area they will not have to worry about is defensive line where they return 3 very solid players. District 4-5A is not going to be a really rough district in 2009 though and they will probably fight for the title against Arlington. Look for them to finish around 7-3 for the season and then another run to the regionals is possible.

History:

Had not won a playoff game in 26 years before the 2007 season

Last 5 year record: 32-26

Last 10 year record: 43-65
