Coaching Changes — Clint Horizon
-
Updated: May 1, 2010
Clint Horizon has named El Paso Del Valle assistant David Telas as their new head coach. Telas will replace Robert Morales who resigned at the end of the season after six seasons with the Scorpions.
Morales had a 22-38 record since 2004 and was their first ever head coach since they opened in 2001. Telas comes over after having spent all nine years of his coaching career at Del Valle High School. The past six years he has been the Conquistadors offensive coordinator.
The Scorpions will be a member of District 2-4A along with Canutillo, El Paso Del Valle, El Paso Parkland, El Paso Riverside, El Paso Ysleta and San Elizario. The most wins during a season in Clint Horizons 6 year history is only 6 wins.
